Nature Works at Bottle Works

10am - 2pm

NatureWorks, our free, family-friendly event, is back again in 2025, and we are excited to celebrate the great outdoor opportunities in our region while educating the community on all of the amazing resources available.

NatureWorks welcomes more than 20 conservation and outdoor recreation-themed groups to the Bottle Works.  Presenting partners will provide information and interactive activities to help the community learn and become more engaged with the environmental happenings in our region.

Reception at UPJ’s Murtha Center

JSO “Nature: Smyth and Sibelius”

7:30pm

In a program celebrating the extraordinary beauty of this region, JSO Concertmaster Maureen Conlon Gutierrez performs a hidden gem for violin and horn, joining with one of the greatest hornists ever, the legendary Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s principal horn, Bill Caballero. On the second half is Sibelius’s nature-filled and triumphant Symphony No. 2, a beautiful journey through landscapes of space and time.
