Who We Are
The 1929 Society honors individuals who have committed to supporting Johnstown Symphony Orchestra forever through a planned gift, which will preserve the legacy of JSO for many years to come.
Membership & Benefits
Becoming a member of the 1929 Society is simple. You can give a meaningful gift of $10,000 or more to the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Endowment Fund now, or include the fund as a beneficiary of a gift from your estate. Membership ensures you are recognized now for your planned gift, which will help to ensure the long-term financial stability of the JSO.
Membership requirements:
Those whose estate planning reflects a commitment anticipated to be in excess of $10,000 to the JSO.
Those who have endowed an orchestral chair at a minimum commitment of $10,000
Those who make gifts at or in excess of $10,000 to the JSO unrestricted or restricted endowments, or to the JSO Endowment established by the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies.

Invitation to an annual exclusive 1929 Society event at the Masonic Lodge

Recognition in the orchestra's subscription series programs, where possible
