Mission and Vision

Since 1929, the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra has been enriching our region through the power of live music.

  For 95 years, the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra has served a four-county region of Cambria, Bedford, Somerset and Indiana through a diverse line-up of programming. Our commitment to music education has nurtured the next generation of talent through our Youth Orchestra and Children's Chorus and has provided music education opportunities and creative outlets for adults through our Orchestra Chorus, Community Strings ensemble and professional orchestra.  We are committed to serving the community through the transformative power of music and look forward to strengthening our bond with our current friends and connecting with new ones.
