HOPE: Tchaikovsky & Fauré
Our season finale celebrates the strength of this community in overcoming adversity, and the way that beauty and faith guide us forward. Tchaikovsky’s Sixth Symphony is his last symphonic statement, a work that is stunningly beautiful and expressive. Fauré’s Requiem is one of the most beloved choral works ever written – songful, soulful, and bringing us to a place of peace. The central movement, the Pie Jesu, will feature Piper Parlock, a young singer from the region.

Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra: Chamber Music Performance
Join us for a series of special performances by the talented young musicians of the Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra Chamber Ensembles. These intimate concerts showcase small groups of JSYO members performing beautiful chamber music in community spaces throughout our region.
From strings and winds to brass and percussion, each ensemble brings its own unique voice and artistry to the stage—highlighting the dedication, teamwork, and musicality of our next generation of symphony musicians.
Admission is free, and all are welcome! Whether you're a longtime music lover or a curious newcomer, these concerts offer a wonderful opportunity to support youth in the arts and enjoy high-quality live music in a relaxed, accessible setting.

Inclined to Sing Spring Concert
Join us for an uplifting afternoon of music as the Johnstown Symphony Chorus presents Inclined to Sing, our annual spring concert! Under the direction of Emily Roy, students will sing a variety of songs that celebrate the joy of music, the spirit of spring, and the power of young voices joining together in harmony.
Admission is free, and all are welcome. Donations are appreciated and help support future performances and educational programs that bring music into the lives of children and our greater community.

Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra: Spring Concert
Celebrate the energy, talent, and dedication of the region’s finest young musicians at the Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra Spring Concert! Under the direction of Director David Anderson, the JSYO will perform a dynamic program that highlights the hard work and artistry these students have developed throughout the season.
From stirring symphonic works to uplifting selections for full orchestra, this concert is a joyful showcase of the next generation of musical talent right here in our community.
Tickets: $7 for adults
Students 12 and under attend for free

Springtime Serenade Fashion Show Hosted by the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Auxiliary
Join us for an elegant afternoon of fashion, fun, and community as the Johnstown Symphony Auxiliary proudly presents its annual Fashion Show fundraiser!
Guests will enjoy a delicious luncheon, basket raffles, and a fabulous runway presentation featuring the latest seasonal looks from local boutiques. Models from our community—friends, neighbors, and even a few familiar faces from the Symphony—will showcase styles perfect for spring and summer.

Heroes: The Hope Springs Eternal Project
We perform poignant and inspiring works by Jewish composers whose lives and careers were tragically affected by the Holocaust, while also extending our gratitude to WWII veterans for their bravery and sacrifices. This project brings together local and regional arts and community organizations, each contributing significantly to fostering understanding of this tragic time in world history and commemorating the enduring resilience of humanity. This performance is made possible by The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies Beerman Holocaust Education Fund and the Hope Springs Eternal: Holocaust Education Project.

Community Strings: Spring Concert
Our Community Strings Ensemble, under the direction of Beth Pile, welcomes you to their annual Spring Concert! This seasonal performance brings together string players from across the region for an evening filled with warmth, harmony, and community spirit!

JSO Chorus: Memorial Day Performance
The Johnstown Symphony Chorus, under the direction of Jeffrey Webb, invites the community to a Memorial Day tribute at Grandview Cemetery. This annual performance honors the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and offers a moment of reflection through the power of music.
This event is free and open to the public.

Carnegie Hall: The New England Symphonic Ensemble featuring JSO Chorus Director, Jeffrey L. Webb, and members of the JSO Chorus
The New England Symphonic Ensemble performs an afternoon of choral and orchestral masterworks, featuring participating choirs from around the country. The program features Fauré’s transcendent Requiem, led by Craig Denison and Jeffrey L. Webb, alongside John Rutter’s jubilant Te Deum and Gloria, conducted by Kipper Ackerman and Sonja Sepúlveda. Schubert’s lyrical Mass No. 4 in C Major, and Vivaldi’s vibrant Magnificat round out the performance under Dennis Malfatti and Chantae Pittman.

Symphony Tea
The Somerset Auxiliary of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra cordially invites all tea and music lovers to attend their Afternoon Symphony Tea on Sunday, April 6th beginning at 2:30pm in the Tuscany Room at Green Gables Restaurant (7712 Somerset Pike, Jennerstown, PA, 15547).
Set against a backdrop of timeless charm, The Symphony Tea offers guests a chance to slow down and savor a selection of teas, finger sandwiches, and sweet treats. The event features a performance by harpist, Sophi Conn, a former member of the Johnstown Symphony Youth Orchestra. Attendees are encouraged to dress for the occasion—hats, gloves, and afternoon dresses are welcome! A highlight of the afternoon will be the charming hat contest, where guests can show off their most whimsical, elegant, or creative headwear for a chance to win a prize.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under and are available at the door.
