Community: A Celebration of MLK Jr. 

Concert Update:

It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of our performance: Community:  A Celebration of MLK, originally scheduled for January 19th, 2025, in partnership with the NAACP, Christ Centered Community Church and the Flood City Youth Fitness Academy due to inclement weather. Due to the complex schedules of the more than 100 performers and speakers, we are unable to reschedule this performance.   

However, we are pleased to share that the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and the NAACP remain committed to working together to create a meaningful and impactful joint performances in the near future. While this particular concert is not moving forward, we are actively planning a new collaboration that celebrates the power of music and our shared mission to unite and uplift our community. We look forward to sharing more details with you soon! 

We deeply value your support and want to provide you with options to ensure your continued enjoyment of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra: 

  1. Consider Your Ticket a Donation: Your donation will assist us with covering the costs incurred for this performance such as rentals and production wages. 

  1. Exchange Your Ticket: Receive a complimentary ticket to another concert of equal value during this season. 

  1. Request a Refund: We are happy to process a full refund if you prefer.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely thank you for your understanding. The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra remains dedicated to enriching our community through music, and we are thrilled about the future collaboration with the NAACP, Christ Centered Community Church and the Flood City Youth Fitness Academy that will continue this important work.
